1. आक्रामकता का शिकार हुए मासूम बच्चों का दिवस

आक्रामकता का शिकार हुए मासूम बच्चों का संयुक्त राष्ट्र (UN) अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस, प्रत्येक वर्ष 4 जून को मनाया जाता है।
इस दिवस का उद्देश्य, दुनिया भर में शारीरिक, मानसिक और भावनात्मक शोषण के शिकार हुए बच्चों के दर्द को स्वीकार करना है।
"स्टॉप अटैकस ऑन चिल्ड्रन" 2021 का विषय है।
19 अगस्त 1982 को महासभा द्वारा इस दिन को मान्यता दी गई थी।

2. विवेक राम चौधरी: वाइस चीफ ऑफ एयर स्टाफ

एयर मार्शल विवेक राम चौधरी को वायु सेना मुख्यालय में अगले वाइस चीफ ऑफ एयर स्टाफ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।
दो नए कमांडर-इन-चीफ भी अपने नए कार्यभार संभालेंगे।
एयर मार्शल बल्लभा राधा कृष्ण दिल्ली में पश्चिमी कमान में चौधरी का स्थान लेंगे जबकि एयर मार्शल आर.जे. डकवर्थ प्रयागराज में मध्य वायु कमान का प्रभार संभालेंगे।

3. सात संस्थानों को CoE का दर्जा

गुजरात सरकार ने सात शिक्षा संस्थानों को सैद्धांतिक उत्कृष्टता केंद्र (CoE) का दर्जा दिया है।
इसमें छह विश्वविद्यालय और एक तकनीकी कॉलेज शामिल हैं - छह निजी और एक स्वायत्त।
CoE का दर्जा देने वाले संस्थानों को शैक्षिक कॉलेजों या संस्थानों (प्रवेश का विनियमन और शुल्क का निर्धारण) (संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2013 के सभी प्रावधानों से छूट दी जाएगी।

4. CSIR-NCL ने पेश की नई तकनीक

CSIR-राष्ट्रीय रासायनिक प्रयोगशाला (CSIR-NCL), पुणे प्राकृतिक तेलों का उपयोग करके जल को कीटाणुरहित करने के लिए एक नई तकनीक लेकर आई है।
CSIR-NCL पुणे में वैज्ञानिक डॉ. वी.एम. भंडारी और उनके समूह ने "SWASTIIK" नामक नई हाइब्रिड तकनीक विकसित की है, जिसमें दाब में कमी (गुहिकायन) के परिणामस्वरूप तरल को उबालना शामिल है और रोगाणुरोधी गुणों वाले प्राकृतिक तेलों का भी उपयोग करता है।

5. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने लॉन्च किया APAC साइबर सुरक्षा परिषद

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने पहले एशिया प्रशांत सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की साइबर सुरक्षा कार्यकारी परिषद की शुरुआत की है।
इसमें ब्रुनेई, इंडोनेशिया, कोरिया, मलेशिया, फिलीपींस, सिंगापुर और थाईलैंड के नीति निर्माता और प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति शामिल हैं और यह साइबर सुरक्षा पेशेवरों द्वारा समर्थित है।
परिषद का उद्देश्य साइबर सुरक्षा में सार्वजनिक-निजी भागीदारी में तेजी लाना, खतरे की खुफिया जानकारी साझा करना है।

6. 2031-32 तक कार्बन न्यूट्रल हो जाएगा HDFC बैंक

HDFC बैंक ने 2031-32 तक कार्बन न्यूट्रल बनने की योजना की घोषणा की है। इस पहल के तहत, बैंक अपने उत्सर्जन, ऊर्जा और जल की खपत को कम करने पर विचार कर रहा है।
बैंक अपने परिचालन में अक्षय ऊर्जा के उपयोग को शामिल करना और बढ़ाना जारी रखेगा।
यह ग्रीन बॉन्ड निर्गमन के लिए एक रूपरेखा भी विकसित कर रहा है।

7. SDG इंडिया इंडेक्स में केरल शीर्ष स्थान पर बरकरार

केरल ने नीति आयोग के SDG इंडिया इंडेक्स 2020-21 में शीर्ष स्थान बरकरार रखा है, जबकि बिहार को सबसे खराब प्रदर्शन करने वाला राज्य घोषित किया गया है।
सतत विकास लक्ष्य सूचकांक (SDG) सामाजिक, आर्थिक और पर्यावरणीय मापदंडों पर राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों की प्रगति का मूल्यांकन करता है।
हिमाचल प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु दोनों ने 74 के स्कोर के साथ दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया।

8. ADB और भारत ने किए ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर

एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक और भारत सरकार ने 3 जून 2021 को सिक्किम में प्रमुख ज़िला सड़कों के उन्नयन के लिए परियोजना की तैयारी और डिज़ाइन गतिविधियों का समर्थन करने के लिए एक ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
यह 2.5 मिलियन अमरीकी डॉलर का परियोजना तत्परता वित्तपोषण ऋण है।
इससे सिक्किम के महत्वपूर्ण शहरों, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों, तीर्थ और पर्यटन स्थलों से संपर्क में सुधार करने में मदद मिलेगी।

9. CSIR सोसायटी की बैठक की अध्यक्षता करेंगे प्रधानमंत्री

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 4 जून 2021 को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद, CSIR सोसाइटी की बैठक की अध्यक्षता करेंगे।
CSIR सोसायटी विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के तहत वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान विभाग का एक हिस्सा है।
इसकी गतिविधियां पूरे भारत में फैले 37 प्रयोगशालाओं और 39 आउटरीच केंद्रों के माध्यम से की जाती हैं।

10. MAPS लागू करेगी महाराष्ट्र सरकार

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने राज्य के युवाओं को रोज़गार और प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से महाराष्ट्र शिक्षुता संवर्धन योजना (MAPS) को लागू करने का निर्णय लिया है।
इस योजना का उद्देश्य अगले 5 वर्षों में 5 लाख सुशिक्षित बेरोज़गार युवाओं को रोज़गार और प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना है।
इस योजना के तहत प्रशिक्षु को वृत्तिका का 75% या 5000 रुपये (जो भी कम हो), प्रदान किया जाएगा।

11. तोमर ने किया इंडस बेस्ट मेगा फूड पार्क का उद्धाटन

केंद्रीय खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने 3 जून 2021 को छत्तीसगढ़ के रायपुर में इंडस बेस्ट मेगा फूड पार्क का उद्घाटन किया।
पार्क से लगभग पांच हज़ार लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से रोजगार मिलेगा और करीब 25 हज़ार किसानों को लाभ होगा।
इसे 145 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की परियोजना लागत पर 63 एकड़ से अधिक भूमि में स्थापित किया गया है।

12. डेवोन कॉनवे ने तोड़ा 125 वर्षों पुराना रिकॉर्ड

न्यूज़ीलैंड के सलामी बल्लेबाज़ डेवोन कॉनवे ने 3 जून 21 को लॉर्ड्स में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ अपने टेस्ट डेब्यू पर दोहरा शतक बनाया।
उन्होंने इंग्लैंड में टेस्ट डेब्यू पर एक बल्लेबाज़ द्वारा सर्वोच्च स्कोर के लिए महान के.एस. रंजीतसिंहजी द्वारा बनाए गए 125 वर्षों पुराने रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ दिया।
उन्होंने सौरव गांगुली के लॉर्ड्स में पदार्पण पर सर्वोच्च टेस्ट स्कोर का 25 वर्षों पुराना रिकॉर्ड भी तोड़ दिया था, जब वे 131 से आगे निकल गए थे।

13. थावरचंद गहलोत शुरू करेंगे SAGE परियोजना

सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री थावरचंद गहलोत 4 जून 2021 को सीनियर केयर एजिंग ग्रोथ इंजन, SAGE परियोजना का शुभारंभ करेंगे।
इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य विश्वसनीय स्टार्ट-अप द्वारा बुजुर्ग देखभाल उत्पादों और सेवाओं का चयन, समर्थन और वन-स्टॉप एक्सेस बनाना है।
SAGE परियोजना बुजुर्गों के लिए स्टार्ट-अप पर अधिकार प्राप्त विशेषज्ञ समिति की रिपोर्ट की सिफारिशों पर बनाई गई है।

14. जी.आर. अरुण कुमार ओला के नए समूह मुख्य वित्तीय अधिकारी नियुक्त

राइड-हेलिंग ऐप ओला ने जी.आर. अरुण कुमार को अपना नया समूह मुख्य वित्तीय अधिकारी (CFO) नियुक्त किया है।
स्वयं सौरभ ओला की गतिशीलता, वित्तीय सेवाओं और खाद्य व्यवसायों के लिए नए CFO होंगे।

न्यूज़ीलैंड के ऑलराउंडर काइल जैमीसन को गेमर्स कैप के 2021 संस्करण से सम्मानित किया गया।

1. Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

The United Nations (UN) International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression is observed every year on 4 June.

The purpose of this day is to acknowledge the pain of children who have been victims of physical, mental and emotional abuse around the world.

"Stop Attacks on Children" is the theme of 2021.

The day was recognized by the General Assembly on 19 August 1982.

2. Vivek Ram Choudhary: Vice Chief of Air Staff

Air Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary has been appointed as the next Vice Chief of Air Staff at Air Headquarters.

Two new Commanders-in-Chiefs will also take up their new assignments.

Air Marshal Ballabha Radha Krishna will succeed Chaudhary in the Western Command in Delhi while Air Marshal R.J.  Duckworth will take charge of Central Air Command in Prayagraj.

3. CoE status to seven institutions

The Government of Gujarat has accorded In-principle Center of Excellence (CoE) status to seven educational institutions.

It consists of six universities and one technical college - six private and one autonomous.

Institutions granted CoE status will be exempted from all the provisions of the Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) (Amendment) Act, 2013.

4. CSIR-NCL introduced new technology

CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune has come up with a new technology to disinfect water using natural oils.

Scientist at CSIR-NCL Pune Dr. V.M.  Bhandari and his group have developed a new hybrid technique called "SWASTIIK", which involves boiling the liquid resulting in reduced pressure (cavitation) and also uses natural oils with antimicrobial properties.

5. Microsoft Launches APAC Cyber ​​Security Council

Microsoft has launched the first Asia Pacific Public Sector Cyber ​​Security Executive Council.

It includes policy makers and influencers from Brunei, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand and is supported by cyber security professionals.

The council aims to accelerate public-private partnerships in cyber security, sharing of threat intelligence.

6. HDFC Bank to become carbon neutral by 2031-32

HDFC Bank has announced plans to become carbon neutral by 2031-32.  Under this initiative, the bank is looking to reduce its emissions, energy and water consumption.

The Bank will continue to incorporate and enhance the use of renewable energy in its operations.

It is also developing a framework for green bond issuance.

7. Kerala retains top spot in SDG India Index

Kerala has retained the top spot in NITI Aayog's SDG India Index 2020-21, while Bihar has been adjudged the worst performing state.

The Sustainable Development Goals Index (SDG) evaluates the progress of states and union territories on social, economic and environmental parameters.

Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu both secured the second position with a score of 74.

8.ADB and India sign loan agreement

The Asian Development Bank and the Government of India signed a loan agreement on 3 June 2021 to support project preparation and design activities for the upgradation of major district roads in Sikkim.

This is a project readiness financing loan of US$ 2.5 million.

This will help in improving connectivity to important cities, rural areas, pilgrimage and tourist places of Sikkim.

9. Prime Minister will preside over the meeting of CSIR Society

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the meeting of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR Society through video conferencing on 4 June 2021.

CSIR Society is a part of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Its activities are carried out through 37 laboratories and 39 outreach centers spread across India.

10. Maharashtra government will implement MAPS

The Maharashtra government has decided to implement the Maharashtra Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (MAPS) with an aim to provide employment and training to the youth of the state.

The objective of this scheme is to provide employment and training to 5 lakh well educated unemployed youth in the next 5 years.

Under this scheme 75% of the stipend or Rs.5000 (whichever is less) will be provided to the trainee.

11. Tomar Inaugurates Indus Best Mega Food Park

Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated Indus Best Mega Food Park in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 3rd June 2021.

About five thousand people will get direct and indirect employment from the park and about 25 thousand farmers will be benefited.

It has been set up in over 63 acres of land at a project cost of over Rs 145 crore.

12. Devon Conway breaks 125 years old record

New Zealand opener Devon Conway scored a double century on his Test debut against England at Lord's on 3 June 21.

He took the great K.S. for the highest score by a batsman on his Test debut in England.  Broke the 125 years old record set by Ranjitsinhji.

He also broke Sourav Ganguly's 25-year-old record for the highest Test score on debut at Lord's when he went past 131.

13. Thaawarchand Gehlot to start SAGE project

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot will launch the Senior Care Aging Growth Engine, SAGE project on 4 June 2021.

The objective of this project is to make selection, support and one-stop access to elderly care products and services by trusted start-ups.

The SAGE project is built on the recommendations of the report of the Empowered Expert Committee on Start-ups for the Elderly.

14. GR  Arun Kumar appointed new group chief financial officer of Ola

Ride-hailing app Ola has launched G.R.  Arun Kumar has been appointed as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Saurabh himself will be the new CFO for Ola's mobility, financial services and food businesses.

Eight-time Ranji Trophy champion Amol Majumdar with Mumbai has been appointed as the coach of the Mumbai cricket team for the 2021-22 cricket season.

15. K.  Jamieson: New Zealand's 'Cricketer of the Year'

New Zealand all-rounder Kyle Jamieson was awarded the 2021 edition of the Gamers Cap.

The Gamers Cap is an award given to a player who has been voted 'Cricketer of the Year' by the players and support staff.

Winning this award, Kyle, formerly of the same award winners Bendon McCullum, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, K.  Williamson and Trent are joined by Boult on an elite list.
