1. IAU परिषद में चुने गए भारत के नागराज अडिगा

भारत के नागराज अडिगा को 2021 इंटरनेशनल एसोसिएशन ऑफ अल्ट्रारनर्स (IAU) कांग्रेस में एशिया-ओशिनिया प्रतिनिधि के रूप में चुना गया है।
कांग्रेस आभासी तौर पर 22 और 23 मई 2021 को आयोजित हुई थी।
एशिया-ओशिनिया प्रतिनिधि के लिए,अडिगा ने दक्षिण कोरिया के गिल्सू पार्क के खिलाफ 7-3 के अंतर से जीत दर्ज की।
वे उभरते खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए AF| और विभिन्न सरकारी निकायों के साथ मिलकर कार्य करेंगे।

Nagraj Adiga of India elected to the IAU Council

India's Nagraj Adiga has been elected as the Asia-Oceania representative at the 2021 International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) Congress. 

The Congress was held virtually on 22 and 23 May 2021.

For the Asia-Oceania representative, Adiga won 7–3 against Gilsu Park of South Korea.

They are there to encourage budding players to AF  and will work closely with various government bodies.

2. 30 मई: विश्व वेप दिवस

विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस से एक दिन पहले हर वर्ष 30 मई को विश्व वेप दिवस मनाया जाता है।
विश्व वेप दिवस का उद्देश्य ई-सिगरेट की सापेक्ष सुरक्षा और नुकसान में कमी और धूम्रपान बंद करने के साधनों के रूप में उनकी क्षमता के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।
इसका उद्देश्य धूम्रपान करने वालों को प्रोत्साहित करना है जो बिना सहायता सुरक्षित विकल्पों पर स्विच करने और धुम्रपान छोड़ने में असमर्थ हैं।
यह दिवस पहली बार 2012 में मनाया गया था।

May 30: World Vape Day

World Vape Day is observed every year on 30 May, a day before World No Tobacco Day.

World Vape Day aims to raise awareness of the relative safety and harm reduction of e-cigarettes and their potential as a means of smoking cessation.

It aims to encourage smokers who are unable to quit without assistance to switch to safer alternatives.

This day was first celebrated in 2012.

3. NCPCR ने लॉन्च किया "बाल स्वराज" पोर्टल

राष्ट्रीय बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग (NCPCR) ने उन बच्चों के लिए ऑनलाइन ट्रैकिंग पोर्टल "बाल स्वराज (कोविड-केयर लिंक)" तैयार किया है जिन्हें देखभाल और सुरक्षा की ज़रूरत है।
पोर्टल का उद्देश्य COVID-19 से प्रभावित बच्चों को बाल कल्याण समिति (CWC) के समक्ष उनकी पेशी से लेकर उनके माता-पिता, अभिभावक या रिश्तेदार तक बच्चों की वापसी तक ट्रैक करना है।

NCPCR launches "Bal Swaraj" portal

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has developed an online tracking portal “Bal Swaraj (Covid-Care Link)” for children who are in need of care and protection.

The portal aims to track the children affected by COVID-19 from their appearance before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) till the return of the children to their parent, guardian or relative.

4. FY22 के लिए विकास अनुमान पर यस बैंक की रिपोर्ट

यस बैंक ने अपने अर्थशास्त्री विभाग द्वारा तैयार 'इंडिया GDP: मैराथन एफर्ट अहेड' शीर्षक के साथ एक विकासअनुमान रिपोर्ट जारी की है।
यस बैंक ने 1 जून 2021 को वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए भारत के लिए अपने विकास अनुमान को संशोधित कर 8.5 प्रतिशत कर दिया।
इसका पिछला अनुमान 10.5 फीसदी था।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, गतिशीलता और खपत संकेतकों में क्रमिक गिरावट देखी गई है।

Yes Bank Report on Growth Estimates for FY22

Yes Bank has released a growth forecast report titled 'India GDP: Marathon Effort Ahead' prepared by its Economist Department.

Yes Bank on 1 June 2021 revised its growth forecast for India to 8.5 per cent for the fiscal year 2021-22.

Its previous estimate was 10.5 per cent.

According to the report, there has been a gradual decline in mobility and consumption indicators.

5. एडलवाइस और सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया में समझौता

एडलवाइस रिटेल फाइनेंस लिमिटेड (ERFL) ने 1 जून 2021 को सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों (MSME) को प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्र को ऋण देने के लिए सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के साथ अपनी सह-ऋण साझेदारी को सुदृढ़ करने की घोषणा की ।
MSME अब 50 लाख रुपये तक के कॉलेट्रल मुक्त व्यापार ऋण का लाभ उठा सकते हैं, जो कि पहले 10 लाख रुपये था।
इसके अतिरिक्त, MSME 10 करोड़ रुपये तक की संपत्ति पर ऋण का भी लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

Agreement between Edelweiss and Central Bank of India

Edelweiss Retail Finance Limited (ERFL) on 1 June 2021 announced to strengthen its co-lending partnership with Central Bank of India for priority sector lending to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

MSMEs can now avail collateral free trade loans up to Rs 50 lakh as against Rs 10 lakh earlier.

Additionally, MSMEs can also avail loan against assets up to Rs 10 crore.

6. मूडीज़ ने लगाया FY22 में 9.3% GDP वृद्धि का अनुमान

मूडीज़ इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस ने 1 जून 2021 को मार्च 2022 को समाप्त होने वाले चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत की GDP वृद्धि 9.3 प्रतिशत और वित्त वर्ष 23 में 7.9 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया।
वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था में 7.3 प्रतिशत की गिरावट आई है ।
मूडीज़ को उम्मीद है कि वास्तविक सकल घरेलू उत्पाद की वृद्धि औसतन लगभग 6 प्रतिशत होगी।
महामारी के कारण लॉकडाउन फिर से लागू होने से आर्थिक गतिविधियों पर रोक लगी है।

Moody's forecasts 9.3% GDP growth in FY22

Moody's Investors Service on 1 June 2021 projected India's GDP growth to be 9.3 percent in the current fiscal year ending March 2022 and 7.9 percent in FY23.

India's economy has declined by 7.3 percent in the financial year 2020-21.

Moody's expects real GDP growth to average around 6 percent.

Economic activities have come to a halt due to the re-imposition of the lockdown due to the pandemic.

7. SBI अर्थशास्त्रियों ने FY22 GDP वृद्धि दर घटाकर की 7.9%

1 जून 2021 को SBI के अर्थशास्त्रियों ने अपने वित्त वर्ष 2022 के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद के विकास के अनुमान को घटाकर 7.9% कर दिया, जो कि सभी विश्लेषकों के 10.4% की वृद्धि के पिछले अनुमान में न्यूनतम था।
FY22 के लिए वास्तविक GDP FY20 की तुलना में "थोड़ा अधिक" होगा, जिसमें दो ट्रफ के साथ "W- आकार" की रिकवरी होगी।
दूसरी लहर के उभरने के बावजूद भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने अपने विकास अनुमान को 10.5 प्रतिशत पर बनाए रखा है।

SBI economists cut FY22 GDP growth rate to 7.9%

SBI economists on 1 June 2021 cut its FY22 GDP growth forecast to 7.9%, the lowest in all analysts' previous estimate of 10.4% growth.

Real GDP for FY22 will be "slightly higher" than FY20, showing a "W-shaped" recovery with two troughs.

Despite the emergence of a second wave, the Reserve Bank of India has maintained its growth forecast at 10.5 per cent.

8. औद्योगिक श्रमिकों के लिए 5.14% तक हुआ CPI

अप्रैल, 2021 के लिए औद्योगिक श्रमिकों के लिए अखिल भारतीय उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (2016=100) मार्च, 2021 के 119.6 अंकों की तुलना में बढ़कर 120.1 अंक हो गया।
अप्रैल, 2021 की मुद्रास्फीति मार्च 2021 के 5.64 प्रतिशत की तुलना में घटकर 5.14 प्रतिशत हो गई।
इसी तरह, खाद्य मुद्रास्फीति मार्च 2021 में 5.36 प्रतिशत और एक साल पहले इसी महीने के दौरान 6.56 प्रतिशत के मुकाबले 4.78 प्रतिशत रही।

CPI up to 5.14% for industrial workers

The All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2016=100) for April, 2021 increased to 120.1 points from 119.6 points for March, 2021.

Inflation for April, 2021 declined to 5.14 per cent as compared to 5.64 per cent in March 2021.

Similarly, food inflation stood at 4.78 per cent against 5.36 per cent in March 2021 and 6.56 per cent during the same month a year ago.

9. पी चंद्रन: असम राइफल्स के महानिदेशक

लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल प्रदीप चंद्रन नायर ने 1 जून 2021 को असम राइफल्स के महानिदेशक का पदभार ग्रहण किया।
नायर, असम राइफल्स (उत्तर-पूर्व के प्रहरी के रूप में लोकप्रिय) के 21वें महानिदेशक हैं।

P Chandran: Director General of the Assam Rifles

Lt Gen Pradeep Chandran Nair took over as the Director General of the Assam Rifles on 1 June 2021.

Nair is the 21st Director General of the Assam Rifles (popularly known as the Prahari of the North-East).

Earlier he had served as Inspector General and Company Commander in the Assam Rifles.

He is a recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Yudh Seva Medal.

Former journalist Swapan Dasgupta has been re-nominated by the government to the Upper House of Parliament (Rajya Sabha).

The President, on the advice of the government, nominates eminent persons to the Upper House.

Nominated members are drawn from fields such as literature, science, sports, arts and social service.

डॉ. विनय के नंदीकूरी को 1 जून 2021 को CSIR-सेंटर फॉर सेल्युलर एंड मॉलिक्यूलर बायोलॉजी (CCMB), हैदराबाद के नए निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया।
वे एक प्रसिद्ध आण्विक जीवविज्ञानी हैं और DBT-नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इम्यूनोलॉजी, नई दिल्ली में वैज्ञानिक रहे हैं।
डॉ. नंदीकूरी ने CSIR-कोशिकीय एवं आण्विक जीवविज्ञान केंद्र (CCMB) के निदेशक के रूप में डॉ. राकेश के. मिश्रा का स्थान लिया।

New Director of CCMB, Hyderabad

Dr. Vinay K Nandikuri was appointed as the new Director of CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad on 1 June 2021.

He is a renowned Molecular Biologist and has been a scientist at DBT-National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi.

Dr. Nandikuri has appointed Dr. Rakesh K. as Director, CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB).  Mishra replaced him.

BSE Limited (earlier known as Bombay Stock Exchange) has signed an MoU with Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

It will create awareness about the benefits of listing among Information and Communication Technology (ICT) SMEs and startups.

The ESC acts as a bridge between the government and industry on policy and promotional issues.

Eastern Army Command gets new chief

After Lt Gen Manoj Pandey took charge on 1 June 2021, the Eastern Command got a new Commander.

The country's only tri-services command, the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) - headed by Lt Gen Pandey - also got a new commander after Lt Gen Ajay Singh took over on 1 June 2021.

Lt Gen Pandey took over from Lt Gen Anil Chauhan, who retired on 31 May 2021.

Ravneet Singh appointed as Deputy Chief of Naval Staff

Vice Admiral Ravneet Singh, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM), and Naval Medal (NM) holder has taken over as the Deputy Chief of Naval Staff.

He was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 1 July 1983 and specialized in aviation.

He served as Vice Admiral M.S.  Pawar, a Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM), AVSM, replaces Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) holder, who retired on May 31, 2021.
