SBI Clerk 2021 Online Application

The SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2021 recruitment process has begun post the release of official notification. Candidates are required to visit the official page of SBI to fill in the online application forms as the entire process to apply online for SBI Clerk 2021 exam from April 27 to May 17, 2021. The application fee for SBI Exam is Rs. 750/- for General category and NIL for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.

11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110- 2120/1- 30230-1310/1-31450. The starting Basic Pay is `13075.00 (`11765.00 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates.


SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2021 Selection Procedure

For the selection to the post of Clerical Cadre through SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2021 exam, candidates are selected through two phases of exams- SBI Clerk Prelims and SBI Clerk Mains exam. It is compulsory for all candidates to clear both the phases to secure the appointment letter from SBI.

SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2021 exam is mainly about two pre-requisites:

  • Educational Qualifications: (As on 16.08.2021) He/shemust hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2021) Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2021, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both days inclusive).

After registration candidates are required to pay the requisiteapplication fee through online mode by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking.

Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid emailID&mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS. 

A.GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Ads 5 Ads by Eonads  

a.Candidates should first scan their photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and hand-written declarationas detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature (Annexure-II).

b.The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows:I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine.

c.Left Thumb Impression:If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his /her right thumb for applying)

d.Candidates to visit Bank's website https://bank.sbi/careersor https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and open the appropriate OnlineApplication Form, available underthe 'Current Openings’.

e.Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. In the event of candidates not being able to fill the data in one go, they can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved data using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will be available three times only. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. No change/edit will be allowed thereafter. The registration at this stage is provisional.

 f.After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, following the instructions available on the screen. 

g.Fee can be paidby using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates. 

h.On successful completion of transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated,which may be printed for record. Printout of Application Form is NOT tobe sent to SBI.

 i.If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online

B.GUIDELINES FOR SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH,SIGNATURE, LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION AND HANDWRITTEN DECLARATION: 

Before applying online,a candidate will be required to have a scanned(digital) image of his/her photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and handwritten declarationas per the specifications given in Annexure-II.Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload photo,signature, thumb impression and handwritten declarationas specified.

 Note:

i. In case the face in the photograph or signatureor thumb impression or hand-written declarationis unclear, the candidate's application may be rejected.

ii.In case the photograph/ signature/ thumb impression/ hand written declarationis unclear, candidate may edit his application and re-upload his photograph/ signature/ thumb impression/ hand written declaration

Guidelines for scanning and Upload of Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm),Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression and Hand-written Declaration.

Before applying online,a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph,signature, left hand thumb impression and handwritten declarationas per specifications given below.

a.The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows:I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______, hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”.

b.Left Thumb Impression: If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his /her right thumb for applying

 

Photograph Image:(4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)

a.Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.

b.Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background

c.Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face

d.If picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows

e.If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye"

f.If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.

g.Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face. 

h.Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) 

i.Size of file should be between 20 kb50 kb

j.Ensure that size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning. 

k.Photo uploaded should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.

l.It is advisable thatcandidate retains about 8 copies of the same photograph which is uploaded at the time of online application as these would be needed for further processes of this selectionprocess.

Signature, Left thumb impression and Hand writing declaration Image:

The applicant has to signon white paper with Black Ink pen. 

a. Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) 

b. Size of file should be between 10 kb 20 kb

c. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 kb.

d. Signature uploaded should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.

The applicant has to put his left thumb impressionon a white paper with black or blue ink.

a. File type: jpg / jpeg 

b. Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height). 

c. File Size: 20 kb 50 kb

The applicant has to write the declaration in Englishclearly on a white paper with black ink.

Dimensions:800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 10cm x 5 cm (Widthx Height)

File size: 50 kb-100 kb

a.The signature, left thumb impression and the hand-written declarationmust be of applicant only and not by any other person.

b.If the Applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet or Call letter, signed at the time of the examination, does not match the signature uploaded, the applicant will be disqualified.c.

c.Signature/ Hand written declarationin CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.Ensure that Photo, Signature thumb impression and hand-written declaration are uploaded at the specified spaces only in the online application form.

 Scanning the documents: 

a.Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)

b.Set color to true color.

c.File size as specified above.

d.Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature/ left thumb impression/ hand written declaration, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).

e.The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01. jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.

f.Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain documentsin .jpeg format by using MS Paint or MSOffice Picture Manager. Scanned documents in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu. Size can be adjustedby using crop and then resize option.

 

 Procedure for Uploading the documents:  

a.While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with linksto upload his/her photograph,signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.

b.Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph/Signature/ left thumb impression/ hand written declaration.

c.Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph/Signature/ left thumb impression/ hand written declarationfile has been saved.

d.Select the file by clicking on it.

e.Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button.

f.If the file size and formats are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed. 

g.Preview of the uploaded image will help to see the quality of the image. In case of unclear/ smudged, the same may be re-uploaded to the expected clarity/ quality.

Your Online Application will not be registered unless youupload your photograph,signature, left thumb impression and hand written declarationas specified.

 Note:

1.In case the face in the photograph or signature or left thumb impression or the handwritten declaration is unclear / smudged the candidate’s application may be rejected.

2.After uploading the Photograph / signature / left thumb impression / hand written declaration in the online application form candidates should check that the images are clear and have been uploaded correctly. In case the photograph or signature or left thumb impression or the handwritten declaration is not prominently visible, the candidate may edit his/ her application and re-upload his/ her photograph or signature or left thumb impression or the handwritten declaration, prior to submitting the online application form.  

3.Candidate should also ensure that photo is uploaded at the place of photo and signature at the place of signature. If photo in place of photo and signature in place of signature is not uploaded properly, candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

4.Candidate must ensure that Photo to be uploaded is of required size and the face should be clearly visible. 

5.If the photo is not uploaded at the place of Photo Admission for Examination will be rejected/denied. Candidate him/herself will be responsible for the same. 

6.Candidates should ensure that the signature uploaded is clearly visibleAfter registering online candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated online application forms.
